The TMT Quenching Box is a critical component in the Thermo-Mechanical Treatment (TMT) process, designed to impart high strength and toughness to rebars. Positioned immediately after the finishing stand, the quenching box rapidly cools the hot-rolled bars using a controlled water flow system, forming a hardened outer surface while maintaining a ductile core.
